This will be my 2nd year at ECCEC teaching in the afternoon. I am certified in Early Childhood Education and have studied Political Science at UW Oshkosh. I am looking forward to a fun year of afternoons with the children.

This is my 11th year teaching at ECCEC and I look forward to the start of a new year in the Firefly Class. I’ve completed all the required Early Childhood classes and have worked in the child care profession for 20 years, including the child care program here at Elmbrook Church. I look forward to getting to know you and your children this year.

I am a returning ECCEC teacher. This will be 5th year, but not consecutive. I have completed early education classes and have worked with preschool children at ECCEC, the Milwaukee Rescue Mission and Foster care. I am very excited to be a co-teacher with Mrs. Debban and so thankful to God to be working with your children.

I'm excited to return to ECCEC as a Preschool Teacher. I taught at ECCEC for 9 years from 2002-2011. I have a degree in Elementary Education from Judson University and I've completed all required Early Childhood Classes. I look forward to teaching in the Butterfly Class this year .

This will be my first year as a Honeybee teacher and my 10th year at ECCEC. I have also been ministry assistant for infants to three year olds for Elmbrook Church. I truly love this age group and look forward to getting to know your child and teaching them about Jesus!

I am very excited to start my 4th year of teaching here at ECCEC in the Ladybug Class. I started here in January 2013 as an on-site sub and finished the year as a Dragonfly teacher. I have completed the early childhood education classes and have lots of experience working with children. I am looking forward to a fun-filled year of learning and growth both developmentally and spiritually for the children. Thank you for entrusting your child to me as they prepare for the life God has planned for them.

This is my 12th year teaching preschool and my 10th year at ECCEC. I have a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin– Whitewater. I am looking forward to a great school year and getting to know our Ladybugs!
Mrs. Lori Douglas • Part Time AM Preschool Teacher
This is my 4th year at ECCEC this year. I have had the privilege of getting to know all the children as I previously spent time in each of the classrooms. I look forward to being one of the Caterpillar teachers. I have many years of experience with preschoolers including teaching a preschool class for ten years, taking a variety of early childhood classes, and being a nanny for several families. I am looking forward to getting to know each of the Ladybug children and their families.
Ms. Kjirsten Modert •
I completed a BS Degree in Family Life Education with an emphasis in Youth Programming and Camp Management from the UW-Stevens Point. I began working at ECCEC in June 2007. I am very pleased to be back for my 11th year. When I am not at school I enjoy the attending concerts and going to museums, spending time with friends, traveling and reading. I'm excited to take on a new challenge this year as I will be transitioning from afternoon teacher to secretary.

I am looking forward to being one of your child’s teachers in the Butterfly Class. This is my 13th year teaching at ECCEC, and my 19th year teaching children. I graduated from UW-Madison with a B.S. in Human Ecology with study emphasis in Child and Family Studies from and an A.A. in Early Childhood Education from WCTC. I have always found learning to be fun and hope your child will too. I pray this will be a wonderful year for us all.

I am excited to be teaching here at ECCEC for my 12th year! I have completed the early education classes and have worked with preschool children for many years. It is a joy to be able to share my gift of creativity with the children. I look forward to an action packed year in the Caterpillar Class watching them grow spiritually and developmentally.

I have my Associates degree in Early Childhood from WCTC. I have been working with and teaching children for the past 20 years. This will be my 4th year back at ECCEC; I also taught the 4 & 5 year olds from 1999-2006. I am glad to be back and working in the Ants Class. When I am not with my own children, I love going to the gym, spending time with friends, and being outside. I am excited to meet you and your families.

I have been a preschool teacher at ECCEC for 5 1/2 years. Prior to ECCEC I taught for 21 years for the Wauwatosa School District and 7 of those years were at the 4K level. I am a graduate of Carroll College (University) where I received my degree in Elementary Education. We are going to have a fantastic year together in the Ant Class, and I am looking forward to getting to know all of you better.

I’m starting my 13th year here at ECCEC, but have been in the field of early childhood education for 32 years. I’ve completed all the required Early Childhood classes. I look forward to getting to know your child this year in our Garden Class. We will have fun singing, playing games, doing creative art, exploring science, and spending our afternoons together.

This is my 8th school year at ECCEC. I spent the first two and a half years teaching 4s before I joined the Administrative Team. I have graduated from North Central University with a degree in Elementary Education, and taught for 6 years overseas as a missionary teacher. I have been working with children in various settings for the past 20 years, as I truly love being able to be a positive influence in young lives.

When I was hired at ECCEC in 1989, I certainly didn’t think my position would develop into a 25+ year opportunity to minister to children, parents and the teaching staff. God continues to direct my steps and has also allowed my granddaughters to attend ECCEC.
Mrs. MaryAnn Lee • Head of School
My involvement of the past 42 years has given me the opportunity to use my special education degree as well as my ability to write curriculum, train teachers, and cast vision for ECCEC's future. I am also the Disaster Response Coordinator for Elmbrook Church leading teams in the U.S., I have led mission teams and teacher training experiences in Ireland, Belize, Guatemala and recently in Haiti and Dominican Republic. Leading the ECCEC Staff is a joy.
