I am excited to start my 3rd year at ECCEC teaching in the afternoon. I am certified in Early Childhood Education and I am working towards a paralegal degree. I am looking forward to a fun year of afternoons with the children. 


Mrs. Carol Luedtke• Part Time AM Preschool Teacher
I taught 4K here at ECCEC for 9 years from 2002-2011. I returned in 2016 this will be my second year teaching in the Butterfly class.  I have a degree in Elementary Education from Judson University and I've completed all required Early Childhood Classes. I look forward to teaching in the Butterfly Class this year.

Mrs. Karla Keuper • Full Time AM Preschool Teacher
I am looking forward to being one of your child’s teachers in the Butterfly Class. This is my 14th year teaching at ECCEC, and my 20th year teaching children. I graduated from UW-Madison with a B.S. in Human Ecology with study emphasis in Child and Family Studies from and an A.A. in Early Childhood Education from WCTC. I have always found learning to be fun and hope your child will too. I pray this will be a wonderful year for us all.    

Mrs. Ingrid Debban • 
I am excited to be here at ECCEC for my 14th year!  I have completed the early education classes and have worked with preschool children for over 20 years. It is a joy to be able to share my gift of creativity with all the classes as I step into an office role. I am currently taking early childhood administrative credential courses to learn more about the functioning and leadership of a preschool. I look forward to an exciting school year. 

Mrs. Sue Hessner • Part Time AM Preschool Teacher
I have been a preschool teacher at ECCEC for 6 1/2 years. Prior to ECCEC I taught for 21 years for the Wauwatosa School District and 7 of those years were at the 4K level. I am a graduate of Carroll College (University) where I received my degree in Elementary Education. We are going to have a fantastic year together in the Ant Class, and I am looking forward to getting to know all of you better. 

Mrs. Robin Sindicic • Part Time PM Preschool Teacher
I’m starting my 14th year here at ECCEC, but have been in the field of early childhood education for 33 years. I’ve completed all the required Early Childhood classes. I look forward to getting to know your child this year in our Garden Class. We will have fun singing, playing games, doing creative art, exploring science, and spending our afternoons together.


Mrs. Heather Serna • Administrative Director
This is my 9th school year at ECCEC. I spent the first two and a half years teaching 4s before I joined the Administrative Team. I have graduated from North Central University with a degree in Elementary Education, and taught for 6 years overseas as a missionary teacher. I have been working with children in various settings for the past 20 years, as I truly love being able to be a positive influence in young lives. 

Mrs. Alice Jablonski • Child Development Director
When I was hired at ECCEC in 1989, I certainly didn’t think my position would develop into a 25+ year opportunity to minister to children, parents and the teaching staff. God continues to direct my steps and has also allowed my granddaughters to attend ECCEC.

Mrs. MaryAnn Lee • Head of School
My involvement of the past 44 years has given me the opportunity to use my special education degree as well as my ability to write curriculum, train teachers, and cast vision for ECCEC's future. I am also the Disaster Response Coordinator for Elmbrook Church leading teams in the U.S., I have led mission teams and teacher training experiences in Ireland, Belize, Guatemala and recently in Haiti and Dominican Republic. Leading the ECCEC Staff is a joy. 

Ms. Melissa Schuett • Full Time AM Preschool Teacher
This is my 12th year teaching at ECCEC and I look forward to the start of a new year in the Firefly Class. I’ve completed all the required Early Childhood classes and have worked in the child care profession for 20 years, including the child care program here at Elmbrook Church. I look forward to getting to know you and your children this year.

This is my 13th year teaching preschool and my 11th year at ECCEC. I have a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin– Whitewater. I am looking forward to a great school year and getting to know our Ladybugs!

Mrs. Lori Douglas • Part Time AM Preschool Teacher

This is my 5th year at ECCEC. I look forward to being one of the Caterpillar teachers.  I have many years of experience with preschoolers including teaching a preschool class for ten years, taking a variety of early childhood classes, and being a nanny for several families. I am looking forward to getting to know each of the Caterpillar children and their families. 

Mrs. Amy Comaris • Part Time AM Preschool Teacher

I have my Associates degree in Early Childhood from WCTC. I have been working with and teaching children for the past 25 years. This will be my 5th year back at ECCEC; I also taught the 4 & 5 year olds from 1999-2006. I am glad to be back and working in the Ants Class. When I am not with my own children, I love going to the gym, spending time with friends, and being outside. I am excited to meet you and your families.

Mrs.Sandy Gorectke• Part Time AM Preschool Teacher
This is my 6th year here at ECCEC, but not consecutive. I have completed early education classes and have worked with preschool children at ECCEC, the Milwaukee Rescue Mission and Foster care. I am very excited to be  co-teaching with Mrs. Douglas. I am so thankful to God to be working with your children and getting to know your families.

I am happy to return to ECCEC and my passion for teaching after retiring 3 years ago. I have completed all the required Early Childhood classes and have been teaching on and off for the past 40 years. ECCEC is where It all started. All three of my sons attended ECCEC as well as 2 of my grandchildren. I am excited to share the love of Jesus with your family and children.

This will be my second year as a Honeybee teacher and my 12th year at ECCEC. I have also been ministry assistant for infants to three year olds for Elmbrook Church. I truly love this age group and look forward to getting to know your child and teaching them about Jesus!

I completed a BS Degree in Family Life Education with an emphasis in Youth Programming and Camp Management from the UW-Stevens Point. I began working at ECCEC in June 2007. I am very pleased to be back for my 12th year. When I am not at school I enjoy the attending concerts and going to museums, spending time with friends, traveling and reading. I look forward to a new school year.

This is my 1st year teaching at ECCEC. I have been serving families through various children's ministries at my church for about 5 years. I recently completed my Early Childhood Education certification. I'm looking forward to building relationships with your children and helping them grow in the afternoon Garden class this year. 

Ms. Katie Danning • Full Time AM Preschool Teacher

I am very excited to start my 1st year of teaching in the Ladybug Class. I started here in January 2013 as an on-site sub and finished the year as a Dragonfly teacher. I have spent the past 4 years teaching in the Honeybee class.  I have completed the early childhood education classes and have lots of experience working with children. I am looking forward to a fun-filled year of learning and growth both developmentally and spiritually for the children. Thank you for entrusting your child to me as they prepare for the life God has planned for them.

I started at ECCEC in January of 2018 as the snack and lunch coordinator. After completing my early childhood classes I have moved into teaching in the Honeybee classroom. I have worked with children of all ages for more than 20 years. Both of my children attended ECCEC as well. I am excited to get to know the children this year and am so blessed to be able to do what I love!

This is my first year working at ECCEC. I am very excited to serve the children and their families. I love working with children and have spent many years as a Sunday school teacher. In addition, I have a passion for nutrition and healthy eating. What a privilege and wonderful opportunity to get to know the children and impact their lives in a healthy way.
